Turkey v Czech Republic Live

Turkey and the Czech Republic face off in a winner takes all match at the Stade de Geneve in Geneva. The loser of this game will exit from the Euro 2008.

Turkey kept themselves in the tournament with a last gasp win over co-hosts Switzerland. The hosts took the lead in the 32nd minute courtesy Hakin Yakin, but Semih Senturk equalized in the 57th minute. Just when it appeared that the game was headed to a draw, Turkey grabbed the winner through a deflected goal from Ardan Turan.

Czech Republic lost their last match to Portugal by a 3-1 margin. The Czechs were left without any answers as Deco, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ricardo Quaresma drilled in superb goals. Libor Sionko got a consolation goal for them.

Czech Republic coach Karol Bruckner may look for other options as Jan Koller has not fired in this competition.
