Everton v Newcastle United Live

Interim Newcastle United manager Joe Kinnear will be completing his final match of his two game touchline ban this Sunday when his side takes on Everton at Goodison Park.

Newcastle have now lost five games on the trot in all competitions and could end up bottom of the Premier League if they fail to beat Everton and Tottenham Hotspur secure a victory against Hull City. Newcastle fans should have gotten used to their team under perform in the recent years but this year could be different with the club tipped strongly to be relegated from the division.

Everton will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing performances in their last two matches which saw them slump to a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool before bowing out of the UEFA Cup with a 2-1 loss to Standard Liege in the midweek. Phil Neville and Louis Saha are the only injury worries for Everton manager David Moyes with both the players suffering from slight knocks during the match against Standard Liege while Newcastle will be without Jonas Gutierrez who is yet to return back to full fitness.
