Northern Ireland will be under pressure at home when they welcome the Czech Republic for their second World Cup qualifier at Windsor Park on Wednesday.

NI boss Nigel Worthington was disappointed with his side’s tame 1-2 loss to Slovakia last weekend. Martin Skrtel and Marek Hamsik scored for the Slovaks, while Jan Durica’s own goal gave one back to NI.

Northern Ireland defender George McCartney is a doubtful starter with a hamstring injury. Kyle Lafferty is also out with a back injury. However Keith Gillespie is expected to be fit after recovering from an ankle problem.
