Celtic take on Hamilton Academical in their next SPL match having overcome a stiff challenge from Aberdeen in their previous game.

The defending champions won 3-2 thanks to a last-gasp effort from Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. The Dutchman had put Celtic ahead after 14 minutes, but a brace from Charlie Mulgrew gave Aberdeen the lead in the second half before Scott McDonald pulled level. It appeared to be a draw, but Vennegoor of Hesselink gained the full three points for Celtic late on.

Hamilton Academical were soundly trashed 4-1 by Falkirk in their last game and will be hoping to avoid a rout this time as well.
