Portsmouth v Stoke City Live

Stoke City continue their search for the first away win of the season when they visit Portsmouth in their next Premier League clash on Sunday.

Tony Pulis’ side find themselves in the relegation zone just six games into the season and the Stoke manager will be aware that his side will have to start picking up points away from home if they are to beat predictions and retain their place in the top flight for another season.

Portsmouth will be in a confident mood with the club putting up two good performances, including in the 2-2 draw away to Guimaraes in the UEFA Cup, after shipping away 10 goals in two matches. Manager Harry Redknapp will now be looking forward to moving further up the table and be involved in the fight for a European place come the end of the season. Portsmouth will be without Lassana Diarra, who is out with a suspension, as well as Papa Bouba Diop and John Utaka who are suffering from injuries while Stoke will be monitoring the progress of Rory Delap who is yet to recover fully from his hamstring injury.
