Motherwell v Rangers Live
Rangers will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Zenit St Petersburg in the UEFA Cup final and close down the gap at the top of the Scottish Premier League table to one point when they take on Motherwell in their next match on Saturday.
Rangers are currently four points behind league leaders Celtic but do have two games in hand which manager Walter Smith will be hoping to turn into victories. Smith will be looking to take maximum points from the remaining three matches as he chases a 52nd league title for Rangers.
Motherwell’s 2-1 victory over Aberdeen in their last match meant that Mark McGhee’s side will be finishing the league in third position. Motherwell have played Rangers four times this season and have suffered three defeats after they held them to a 1-1 draw early this season.
McGhee will be without captain Paul Quinn who is out with a jaw injury along with Bob Malcolm who has picked up an automatic suspension after collecting maximum number of yellow cards.
