Hull City v Watford Live
Hull City go into the second leg of their Championship play off semi final in pole position after taking a 2-0 lead against Watford at the Vicarage Road Stadium.
Nick Barmby put Hull in an early lead in the 8th minute and Dean Windass doubled the lead midway through the first half to help his side complete a comfortable victory away to Watford on Sunday. It was Hull’s second successive win over Adrian Boothroyd’s side after having beaten Watford 3-0 at Kingston Communications Stadium early in March this year.
Hull have had a great record at home in the Championship throughout the season, losing just three matches. However they take on a Watford team that has had the best away form in the league, winning 10 of their 23 matches played so far.
Jay-Jay Okocha, Henrik Pedersen and Dean Marney are all back to full fitness for Hull City though manager Phil Brown is expected to field an unchanged line up in the second leg.
