England meet the Czech Republic in their final friendly game at the Wembley before starting their campaign to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

Manager Fabio Capello will name his permanent captain for the campaign ahead of this game and Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is heavily tipped to take over as the skipper.

Michael Carrick pulled out with an ankle injury and has been replaced by Jermaine Jenas. Capello has also recalled Emile Heskey to the squad. Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe, Theo Walcott and Heskey are the four strikers in the England team.
