Aston Villa continue their campaign to qualify for the UEFA Cup by visiting Icelandic team FH Hafnarfjordur on Thursday.

A narrow and uneasy win over Danish side Odense BK allowed Villa to progress through to the second qualifying round, but this tie again promises to be a tight one.

Villa boss Martin O’Neil has been busy shoring up his defense in the summer with Nick Shorey arriving from Reading and Carlos Cuellar arriving from Rangers. The Gareth Barry transfer saga continues to unfold and the England midfielder could very well be left in the lurch come August 31.
