West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth clash in the first FA Cup semi-final at the Wembley Stadium this weekend in a game that could end participation of Premiership teams in the competition.

Pompey made it through by beating Manchester United through a penalty from Sulley Muntari in an ill-tempered match that also saw United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rant at the officials.

West Brom entered the semi-finals with a 5-1 win over Bristol and will be in a fairly confident mood. Boos Tony Mowbray will hope his side are not overawed by the occasion and play sensible football.
