Liverpool v PSV Eindhoven Live

Steven Gerrard will be hoping to score his 100th goal for Liverpool when they take on Dutch side PSV Eindhoven at the Anfield Stadium on Wednesday.

Gerrard scored a brace in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Marseille in their first Champions League group match but has been unable to add to the tally in the domestic league. A win for Liverpool could put them in a strong position to qualify out of the group and manager Rafa Benitez will be hoping to collect all three points against PSV at home in order to avoid another pressure filled situation when thye group stage nears to an end.

PSV Eindhoven face a must win situation against Liverpool on Wednesday and a failure to do so would mean that the Dutch club will have to win at least three of their remaining four matches if they are to have any hopes of making it to the knockout stages.
