Man Utd travel to Abderdeen on Saturday to play in a glamourous pre season friendly at Pittodrie, Abedeen.

Manchester United have named top stars like Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand in their squad to face Aberdeen on Saturday.

Sir Alex Ferguson - who managed Aberdeen from 1978 to 1986 - is bringing the Champions League winners to Pittodrie. The game marks the 25th anniversary of the Dons winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1983. Tickets for the glamour game quickly sold out. It will be a highlight of a series of testimonial events to honour the victory.

Abderdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood has stated the the club cannot wait for the match to start and looks forward to a packed ground on Saturday.
