Chelsea v Liverpool Live

Chelsea will be hoping to finally overturn their losing streak against Liverpool and qualify for their first Champions League final when the two teams meet in the second leg of their semi final clash on Wednesday.

Chelsea go into the second leg as favorites to progress after scoring a vital away goal at Anfield last week. Liverpool were on course for an important victory in the first leg after Dirk Kuyt put them in the lead in the first half but an injury time own goal by Riise has given Avram Grant’s side an advantage in the second half.

Liverpool have played against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge twice this season and have failed to score on both the occasions. With Chelsea unbeaten at home in almost three years, Rafa Benitez’s side will have to come up with something special if they are to have any hopes of qualifying for their third Champions League final in four years.
