Roma play Manchester United in a repeat match-up of last year’s quarterfinals in the UEFA Champions League at the Stadio Olimpico this Tuesday.

The Italian team suffered their biggest defeat at the hands of the Red Devils last year when they were routed 7-1 at Old Trafford. The bad news for the Rome outfit is that captain Francesco Totti is ruled out of the game with a thigh injury.

Sir Alex Ferguson might have enjoyed a quite smile after the Champions League draw was made because United avoided English sides and were not pitted against the might of Barcelona.

With his side enjoying a healthy five point lead in domestic Premiership, Ferguson will hope the Champions League trophy can come to Old Trafford this season.
