Liverpool are without Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher for their Champions League qualifer with Toulouse.

Skipper Gerrard has not recovered from a broken toe while Carragher suffered a collapsed lung and a broken rib in Saturday’s win at Sunderland.

Fellow defender Sami Hyypia broke his nose in the same game but is available after training as normal on Sunday.
